To lodge a claim all you need to do is call Taxicare Australia's Claims Department Staff in Melbourne. You can also send us a fax, email or visit your local State office in person to report your claims. As part of your protections, Taxicare Australia provides free towing assistance in the event of an accident. So here's what to do.


Making a New Claim

Step by step process

1) Make sure your Taxicare Australia membership is current.
2) Call us immediately during office hours.
3) Download a printable Claim Form.

Simply, fill out the form and fax or post it to a Taxicare office in your city. By ringing us first, you may be able to fast-track your repair under most circumstances.

Obligations under your covers

As a member you have a major obligation to take appropriate action to limit or prevent further damage after the initial incident. Please read our Product Disclosure Statement in your membership pack.

Claims Tips:

Report incidents such as theft and malicious damage to your local Police and request a copy of the report. Call your state office number under Contacts for advice on local recommended repairers and tow truck companies. Following any malicious damage to your car - secure the vehicle against weather and further damage/incident.
If you believe your vehicle will be damaged further by driving it after an incident, call for a tow truck.
